A dirty martini made with caper brine

Salty, and slightly sweet with just a little tang. The capertini is a little more illusive and nuanced than a traditional dirty martini.

In the words of the great Nigella Lawson ”strangely, it can take enormous confidence to trust your own palate, follow your own instincts.” and what truth! This version of a dirty martini was made completely by accident as I had no olives in the house and so I made do with capers. Well, what good misfortune. Make this, and report back.
